Shown above is my 2013 Honda CRF250L project bike with its current luggage/bag setup, which includes a Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag, a Wolfman Enduro Carry All Number Plate Bag, and a Wolfman Peak Tail Bag mounted to a Pro Moto Billet Cargo Rack.
WHERE TO BUY:
• Wolfman Motorcycle Luggage at SRmoto
• Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag at SRmoto
• Wolfman Peak Tailbag at SRmoto
• Pro Moto Billet Cargo Rack for the CRF250L at SRmoto
• Wolfman Enduro Carry All at SRmoto
No dual sport bike is complete without a tank bag. The Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag fits the tank and seat area of the Honda CRF250L perfectly.
The bag features a 4-point quick release mounting system, and the no-skid/no-scratch pad keeps it in place during the most aggressive of riding. Additionally, it's innovative design allows the bag to sit on the tank and not interfere with the gas cap or the vent hose. Other features include an interior mesh pocket, outter mesh pocket, removable clear map pocket, and key clip. The contents of the bag can be accessed very easily...you just un-zip the heavy duty zipper that runs around the top of the bag, and then flip the top up. An optional waterproof cover is available as well.
You won't find a better tank bag for the CRF!

The photos above show a Wolfman Peak Tail Bag mounted to a Pro Moto Billet CRF250L Cargo Rack. This combination works great for carrying things around on the back of the CRF250L. The tail bag fits the Pro Moto Billet rack perfectly and is secured by wrapping its four mounting straps around the outer edges of the cargo rack.
For its size, this bag holds a ton of stuff! The tail bags contents can be accessed very easily... you simply un-zip the heavy duty zipper that runs around the top of the bag, then flip the top up. Internally, two straps keep its contents stable, and the top bungee-web is a great place to keep gloves and other things handy when off the bike. An expandable 4" gusset makes room for unexpected items when fully unzipped. The bag is stiff-sided to retain its shape and looks, empty or full.

The Wolfman Enduro Carry All might just be my favorite bag for hauling around small personal items on my CRF250L. The bag fits the number plate area above the headlight perfectly, and it's large enough to carry my wallet, smart phone, digital camera, and keys. Installation is super easy via 2 straps on the top that loop around the handlebar and 2 straps on the bottom that loop around the lower triple clamp.
The bag mounts above the headlight on virtually any dirt bike or dual sport. I've used them on WR250R's, DRZ400's, and now on the little CRF. Thanks to its compact size, the bag is great alternative to a tank bag, and easilty fits lightweight items like cell phones, compact cameras, wallets, keys and extra gloves.
Everything stored inside is easily accessed via the heavy duty zipper on top. A small map pocket is included and can face the rider, stay out of the way on the front of the bag, or be removed altogether.

The other day we finally got the FMF Q4 Muffler, FMF MegaBomb Header, and EJK Electronic Fuel Injection controller installed on our CRF250L Project Bike. The Q4 is our favorite muffler for these types of bikes, mainly because it's a little quieter than some of the other slip-on mufflers on the market, but still sounds much better than the stock exhaust. The MegaBomb header is an ideal header choice because it gives you more low to mid-range power, which the little CRF desperately needs. Finally, the EJK EFI Controller is a must-have mod any time you change the exhaust and/or intake, and EJK has pre-set the controller for Stage 1 type mods, like we've done here. It truly is a plug-n-play installation.
Installation:
Installation was super easy. The stock exhaust comes off by removing 4 bolts, and the FMF Header and Muffler bolted right up with no issues... everything fit great, and FMF even includes a small mounting bracket to mount the white plastic side panel to the Q4 muffler. The EJK EFI Controller was also easy to install... it plugs in right under the gas tank (which we did not need to remove), and we mounted the control unit right under the seat. We had everything hooked up and the bike running in about 45 minutes.
More details and a video clip in the next few days when we get a chance to ride the bike a little bit... stay tuned...

This past week I finally got a chance to install the new DRC Edge2 Tail Light kit on our CRF250L Project bike. This kit bolts right to the sub-frame of the Honda CRF250L and includes an LED tail light that comes on as a running light, then gets brighter when brakes are applied. License plate illumination is provided by 3 white LED's on the bottom of tail light. The kit allows you to re-use your stock rear turn signals/flashers, which can be bolted right to the bracket, or you can use aftermarket LED turn signals/flashers. We decided to go with LED's and went with the DRC Type 602's.
Installation:
The kit comes with instructions and is relatively straightforward to install. When we first hooked the kit up, we got the tail light and brake light to work, but could not get the DRC Type 602 LED Flashers to work. This was sort of a surprise, because several weeks ago we installed Zeta XC Flasher protectors up front and had no problems getting those LED flashers to work. After a few days of working with Brooks from 12oClockLabs, we figured out the problem. Brook's theory is that the CRF250L's factory turn signal flasher module is not designed to work well with LED flashers, and having LED flashers both front and rear causes issues. The fix? We hooked up the 12oClockLabs Fixed Rate Turn signal flasher module, and now our LED flashers work front and rear. As a bonus, this will also make the LED flashers flash at a slower rate like the stock flashers do.
This is how we wired the tail light and flashers (click photo to enlarge). The plug you see on the end is what we cut off the factory tail light/turn signal assembly. We spliced the wires from that together with the DRC Edge 2 Tail Light and DRC Flasher wires as shown...

We recently installed Zeta Armor Hand Guards with Zeta XC Flasher Protectors on our Honda CRF250L. Click video above for a brief overview. Instructions are included with the handguards, but here are the basic steps for the installation...
• Remove factory headlight and un-bolt the factory turn signals
• Wiring... we cut the wires coming out of the stock turn signals to retain the OEM connectors on them. We spliced them together with the wires for the Zeta Handguard Flashers, then plugged it all into the harness on the bike.
The instructions didn't get into detail about matching the wires up, so we had to figure that out ourselves... here's how it went...
RIGHT SIDE:
Factory Green Wire (Ground) goes to the Black Zeta handguard wire
Blue Solid Wire (Turn Signal) goes to the Red Zeta handguard wire
Blue Striped Wire (Running Light) not used
LEFT SIDE:
Factory Green Wire (Ground) goes to the Black Zeta handguard wire
Orange Solid Wire (Turn Signal) goes to the Red Zeta handguard wire
Orange Striped Wire (Running Light) not used
• Once wiring is done, test to make sure the flashers work
• Install aluminum Zeta Armor Handguard on handlebars (instructions included with the handguards). We drilled a hole through the left hand grip to get the insert into the handlebar end, and on the throttle side we trimmed off the end of the grip and end of the throttle tube. Be sure the edge of your throttle tube does not contact the handguard insert.
• Bolt up the XC Flasher protectors to the Armor Handguards, secure wiring where necessary with zip ties, and make necessary adjustments
• Put headlight back on
• Go ride!
